Jane Elaine Reynolds, 64, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.A daughter of the late Luther and Margaret (Zedi) Hidey, Jane was born November 30, 1945 at Dover, Ohio.Jane graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1964. She retired from Midwest Office Printing at Dover and prior that she held employment at various factories, nursing home and home health care agencies. She also served as an MRDD caregiver for many years.She attended Roxford United Methodist Church at Dennison and was a past member of the former New Philadelphia Eagles and the former Uhrichsville Army-Navy Club.Jane had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed tending to her gardens and bird watching. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, traveling and the occasional visit to casinos.She is survived by her companion, Delbert Reynolds; her children,, Delbert (Cheryl) Reynolds II of New Philadelphia, Robert (Twila) Reynolds of New Philadelphia and Kimberly (Kyle) Reed of New Philadelphia; two grandchildren, David Reynolds and Cheyenne Reed; step grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Garrett and Jason and Ryan Reed; her step great grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Gavin and Dillion and two brothers, Martin (Brenda) Hidey of Uhrichsville and Steven (Laura) Hidey of New Philadelphia.Jane was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Echelberry and Margaret Hidey and two brothers, Frederick and Victor Hidey.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service celebrating Jane’s life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.
