Zachary Allen Haas, age 26, of Massillon and formerly of New Philadelphia, a loving son, brother, and uncle, who will be sadly missed by so many was taken from us way too soon.
A son of Jeffery and Paula (Clemens) Haas of New Philadelphia, Zach was born on October 31, 1988 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.
He was a 2007 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center, where he was in the CAD program.
A fun loving individual with a heart of gold, Zach enjoyed snowboarding, golfing, being outdoors, being with family and friends and listening to Jam bands and Blues Music. Most recently, he had been employed by Tremcar at Strasburg as a welder.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, his sister, Kyra (James) Miller of New Philadelphia; his beloved nieces, Makenna and Sienna Miller; his grandparents, Miriam (John) Harper of Navarre, Ilse (Steve) Decker of Massillon, and Thomas (Cecilia) Clemens, Jr. of Steubenville; his beloved dog, Roxy as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marion Haas; a cousin, Jason Louive; an uncle, Thomas Michael Clemens, III, and great-grandparents, Thomas and Imogene Clemens, Sr.
The family will greet guest on Monday, July 27, 2015, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A service celebrating Zach’s life will be led by Pastor Kevin D’Ettorre on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home’s chapel.
