Wilma L. Enama, 89, of New Philadelphia, died Monday evening, May 22, 2006 at Union Hospital in Dover.Born January 14, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Scheetz) Lirgg. After finishing her education at New Philadelphia schools, she worked for a brief time as a clerk at Woolworth. Once she began her family, she took special care of her children and grandchildren. She was a very giving person and faithful member of her church, the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia. Wilma was previously a member of the Order of the Eastern Star New Philadelphia Chapter #222, the Ladies Auxiliary of the B.P.O. Elks #510, and the Midvale VFW.Wilma is survived by two sons, Gary (Diane) Enama and Richard L. (Mildred) Myers, both of New Philadelphia; one sister, Marie Wherley of Dover; four grandchildren, Steve Myers of New Philadelphia, Jeff (Nancy) Myers of Daleville, Virginia, Taylor and Hunter Enama, both of New Philadelphia; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Myers.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Myers, her second husband, Louis S. Enama, and her two brothers, Raymond and Carl Lirgg.Visitation will be held at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia on Thursday, May 25, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Lutheran Church Council service beginning at 7:45 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Wilma’s life will be held on Friday in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Pastor Michael Walters will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. Friends and family are invited back to the church following the committal service where a meal will be served by her church family. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 202 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
