Wilma G. Hahn, 76, of Dover, died early Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.A daughter of the late Alfred and Edna (Easterday) Ball, Wilma was born November 21, 1933 at Leesville, Ohio.Wilma was a member of the first graduating class of Conotton Valley High School in 1951 and over the years was employed at various places throughout the area including Scio Pottery and Handy & Harmon.She was baptized in the Leesville United Methodist church and continued to be active in the church as her health permitted. Wilma spent the last few years of her life in Country Club Retirement Campus at Dover and grew quite fond of all of the staff and enjoyed playing Bingo with the other residents.She is survived by her children, Fred Barnhouse of Dennison; Suzanne (Bill) Patterson of Mineral City and Jim (Sherry) Barnhouse of Dover; three grandchildren, Derek (Erin) Patterson of Strasburg, Garrett Patterson of Mineral City and Danielle Barnhouse of Dover; and a great granddaughter, Hailey Patterson of Strasburg.Completing the family is her brother, Carl Ball of Dover; nieces, Paula Wolfe of Dover and Carla Ball of Midvale; nephews, Larry Wolfe of Lancaster, Ohio, John Ball of Dover and Sam Ball of Carrollton and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nora Wolfe.The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service celebrating Wilma’s life will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.Contributions may be made in Wilma’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, P.O.
