Willard "Willie" Miller

Willard P. Miller, 66, of New Philadelphia, passed away October 9, 2024 in Ohio’s Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

Born April 9, 1958, in Millersburg, he was the son of the late Jonas and Catherine (Dueker) Miller.

After graduating from high school Willie began his career. He worked in the shipping department of Chemical Manufacturing for over 27 years. In his free-time he loved camping at Twin Hills Campground in Freeport and attending car shows.

He is survived by his wife, Traci (Kinsey) Miller who he married on December 10, 2011; son, Russell (Holly) Miller of New Philadelphia; Step-son, Richard Strimbu of New Philadelphia; step-daughter, Vanessa (DJ) LaPointe of Barberton; granddaughters, Alyssa and Everly Miller; step-grandchildren, Addison Strimbu, Mason Strimbu, Skylar LaPointe, and Jameson LaPointe; sister, Vera Jones; and brother, Larry Miller.

In addition to Willie’s parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

The family will greet guests on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
