William W. “Bill” Harding, 65, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Union Hospital.A son of the late Harvey A. and Bernadine Bichard Harding, Bill was born May 29, 1940, in Cambridge, O.He was a 1958 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and a United States Air Force veteran. He retired as a supervisor from Miller Studio in 2002 after 47 years of service.Bill formerly belonged to photography, chess and archery club’s, he also enjoyed computers and golf, and by all accounts was a doting grandfather.He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Calhoun Harding whom he married June 24, 1967; a daughter, Bonnie Harding and companion Ron Austin, of New Philadelphia; a son, Wm. Shane Harding and fiancé, Teresa Yutzy, of Sugarcreek; sister, Judy (Alfred) Brown, of Navarre; brother, Dean (Josephine) Harding, of New Philadelphia; granddaughter’s, Sophia and Iris Austin, Rebecca Harding and Jennifer Yutzy; grandson’s, Wyatt Harding and David Yutzy, Jr.; and cousin Fred (Yvonne) Myers, of Cambridge.Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda Anslow and Darlene Harding and a brother, Gerald Harding.In accordance with Bill’s wishes there will be no visitation and his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & crematory in New Philadelphia is handling the arrangements.Memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc., Hospice of Tuscarawas Co., or a charity of the donor’s choice.
