William Terazzi

William “Bill” Terazzi, 89, of Uhrichsville, died Sunday, November 21, 2004, at his residence.He was born March 16, 1915 at Stillwater, Ohio and attended school in Goshen and Midvale. William was a WWII Army veteran having served in the European Theatre as a Sergeant in Co. A 771 Tank Battalion. He worked as a miner at the Dindo Coal Mine and the Midvale Mine, and had been a Claymont Schools Bus Driver for over 10 years. Bill was a life member of the Dover VFW, post 3463. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Joyce Terazzi of Uhrichsville; sisters, Flora Dindo, of Goshen, and Doris Inverso of Dover; two grandchildren, Bill Terazzi, Jr., of Ohio and Tiffani Terazzi of CA., great granddaughter, Chelsea Alexis Terazzi, of CA., and numerous nieces and nephews.William was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo and Virginia Tamborini Terazzi and three brothers, Donald, Luke and Albert Terazzi.A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia with Elder Glenn Carlisle officiating and Military rites by the Dover VFW Post 3463. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2004 from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00pm at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial Donations may be made to The Tuscarawas Co.
