William Henry Lax

William H. Lax III, 44, of Dover, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

A son of William H. Lax Jr. and Bobbie E. (Breitenstein) Lax, Bill was born September 30, 1970 in Union Hospital at Dover.

Bill graduated from Dover High School in 1989 and was employed by Zorzi, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time at the Tuscarawas River. Bill also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends on special occasions and he also had a love for animals. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Lax and her longtime companion, David Roberts; his father, Bill Lax and his wife, Sue Lax; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Natalie Lax; nieces, Hannah and Abby Lax; an aunt and uncle, Diane and Gary Herman; a special great uncle, Jay Springer; a special friend and mentor, Leo Zorzi and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Bill was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Breitenstein Dorothy Mason-Breitenstein and his paternal grandparents, William H. Lax Sr. and Mary A. Lax.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover.
