William D. ”Bill” Felean, 81, of Mineral City, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in Cleveland Clinic-Mercy Medical Center at Canton.
Born in Highland Park, Michigan, Bill was one of three children born to the late Gregor and Helen (Goron) Felean. Bill was an honorably discharged veteran having served with the United States Army and retired in 2002 from the Chrysler Stamping Plant at Twinsburg after 38 years of service.
Along with his wife, Nancy, Bill attended the Calvary Baptist Church at New Philadelphia and was a life member of the Harley Owners Group. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed riding his Harley alongside his wife and together, they traveled across the United States from Maine to San Francisco, California. He also loved being outside and taking care of his lawn.
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy A. (Smith) Felean, with whom he celebrated over 32 years of marriage; four sons, Gregor Felean of Akron, Ken Messner of Barberton, Tim (Cathy) Messner of Akron and Aaron (Lisa) Schroeder of Virginia; three grandchildren, Anndrea Messner, Kevin Schroeder and Travis Schroeder; his sister, Nancy Jordan of Akron; his brother, Larry (Sally) Felean of Bedford and his best friend Doug (Darlene) Greenameyer of Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM in Calvary Baptist Church at New Philadelphia where a service celebrating Bill’s life will begin at 12 PM with Pastor Don Snow officiating. Following the service, a graveside committal will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at Akron at 2:30 PM.
