William A Mannweiler

William (Bill) A. Mannweiler, age 63 of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Cleveland Clinic.
Bill was born on October 7, 1948 in Massillon to the late Gordon and Pearl (Caldwell) Mannweiler, Sr.

He was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served as a Paratrooper in the 47th Airborne Division. Bill retired on May 11, 2011 from Carter Plumbing and Electric following 12 years of service as an assistant manager. He had previously worked at LTV Steel for 22 years. Bill also served as pastor at Kurios Church in New Philadelphia for over 30 years.

Bill spent his life encouraging people how to love the Lord and to study the scriptures. He was known as a jack of all trades, if you could break it he could fix it. He enjoyed listening to his 50’s and 60’s music. Bill also loved his wife, children, grandchildren, pets and most of all his Lord and Savior, Jesus

In addition to his parents , he is preceded in death by his many beloved pets.

Bill is survived by his high school sweetheart, Jane A. (Shoman) Mannweiler with whom he would have celebrated 43 years of marriage on September 6, 2012; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer (Ty) Simmelink and Stephanie (Dan) Price both of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Clay, Lyndie, Lexi, Ireland, Hanson, Christine, Ashley, Adam, Ethan, Thomas, Trenten, and Kaylee; great grandson, Elijah; brother, Gordon Mannweiler, Jr. of Dalton and his four legged companion Lily Rose.

Memorial services celebrating Bill’s life will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Christian Temple Church of Tuscarawas County, 4249 Belden Avenue, Uhrichsville, Ohio, with Bill Hardy and Jack Hupp officiating. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Bill’s request would be to give your heart and life to Jesus.
