Willard C. Musick

Willard C.”Bud” Musick, age 62, of New Philadelphia, went to be with the Lord early Friday afternoon October 29, 2010.Born at Congo, Perry County, Ohio on March 15, 1948, Bud was a son of the late Willard E. and Virginia L. Gill Musick.Bud was a veteran of the United States Navy having honorably served our country from March, 1965 to December, 1967. For many years following, Bud was a maintenance mechanic and ultimately retired from Valerie Management of Houston, Texas.Surviving are two daughters, Toni (companion, Jason Smith) and Stacy (Dan) Brea all of Woodsfield, Ohio; one step-daughter and two step-sons as well as three grandchildren.Two sisters, Darlene (Jack)Ren, Roseann (Charles) Pressely; two brothers, Gary (Brenda) Musick and Mike Musick all of New Philadelphia and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dixon Musick; four sisters, and one brother.Cremation care will be conducted through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. A private memorial service celebrating Bud’s life will be held at a later date.
