Wesly Wade Westfall

Wesly Wade Westfall, 75, of Sugarcreek, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday morning, April 29, 2015 at his residence following many years of declining health.

Born in Sutton, West Virginia on April 28, 1940, he was the son of the late James Railey and Bertha Ellen (Connor) Westfall. After completing his formal education in Sutton, Wade married his lifelong companion and best friend, the former Barbara Kay Ogg, on December 25, 1960 in Barberton, Ohio.

Wade was employed by Urden for 37 years where he worked as a laborer and inspector.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Barb, of Sugarcreek; his children, Teresa Westfall of Sugarcreek, Marty (Debby) Westfall of Portage Lakes, and Scott (Cristal) Westfall of Dover; his brothers, John (Della) Westfall and Raymond Westfall, both of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Kristin), Woody (Annmarie), Justin (Carrie), Jessy (Melissa), Dusty, Jarrid (fiancé, Madi), and Ethan John; his great-grandchildren, Ayden, Cole, Carter, Paxton, and Liam and one expected great-grandbaby in June; his sister-in-law, Sandy (Gene) Cunningham of Walnut Creek; his brother-in-law, Kevin (Tammy) Ogg of New Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by two infant sons; his siblings, Bobby Jack Westfall, Frank Westfall, Bill Westfall, Bonnie Brown, Donnie Aldridge, and Daisy Westfall; his brother-in-law, Gary Ogg; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Helen Ogg.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover. A Celebration of Life service in memory of Wade will be held in Barrs Mill Church of God, 4677 St. Rte. 93 NW, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681, on Sunday, May 3, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
