Warren B. Reddick, 67, of Coshocton, well-known area singer and entertainer, died Wednesday morning, March 23, 2005, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.Warren was born on January 31, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Bessie (Murray) Reddick. He was a graduate of both Akron Central High School and Salem College in West Virginia where he earned his bachelors degree. His early career with the YMCA took him to New England, but a subsequent sales career brought him back to the Coshocton area. There his musical talents enabled him to eventually become a full-time community entertainer.Known as Mr. Memories, Warren was a featured vocalist at both private and community events, and was a well-known performer at the Holmes County Fair.Warren is survived by his loving friend, Patricia Brown of Warsaw; his former wife and the mother of his children, Hazel McCormick of Coshocton; three daughters, Ruth Anne (Ed) Jones of Coshocton, Alice (Michael) Folk of Charleston, SC, and Mary Ellen (Matthew) Hartley of Coshocton; stepsons, Philip (Patsy) Brown of Warsaw, OH; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Kenton Jones, Grant Hartley, Cassandra Hockaday, Logan Jones, Aundrea Hockaday, Ian Hartley, and Emily Hartley; step-grandchildren, Natasha Brown, Nicholas Brown, and Seth Brown; sister, June (John) Miller; brothers, Jimmy Reddick, Dwight Reddick, and Dean (Delores) Reddick; foster sisters, Mary (Bob) Butcher and Bonnie Latham; and foster brother, Craig Latham.He was preceded in death by his parents and by his foster parents, Jerry and Flo Latham.Cremation will be under the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. No services are scheduled at this time.
