Virginia Wetherill

Virginia “Ginny” Wetherill, age 97, of Country Club Retirement Campus at Dover, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Dover.Born September 20, 1911 at Mineral City, Ginny was the daughter of the late Charles and Ella Mae (Miller) Martin.Ginny will be remembered for her great personality, and her love and kindness shown to everyone she met. She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Edna Mae Williams of Reynoldsburg, O. and Jean (Paul) Mishler of New Philadelphia; her son, Wayne (Micki) Poston of Bradenton, Florida; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands William Poston and John Wetherill; her son-in-law, Dent Williams; brothers, Chet Martin, William Martin, Cliff Martin, Randal Martin, and Forrest Martin; and sisters, Zelda Poston, Gertrude Kistner, and Martha Daughtery.Cremation will take place through the care of Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service celebrating Ginny’s life will be held at a later date.
