Virginia M. Bigler

Virginia M. Bigler, 84, of Midvale, went home to be with Jesus on November 16, 2006 in New Dawn Retirement Community, at Dover, Ohio.Virginia was born on April 1, 1922, at Midvale, to the late John H. and Jennie Price. In 1940, Virginia graduated from Midvale High School. She was a member of the Midvale United Methodist Church all of her life, where she also played the organ, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary of Midvale. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing the organ for other residents in New Dawn. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by, brothers, John Price, Arthur Price; sister, Betty Webster; step grandson, Jeffrey Mann.She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Robert A. Bigler whom she married September 9, 1945; daughter, Marcia J. Bigler of Dover; son, Robert A. (Kathy) Bigler Jr. of Dover; granddaughters, Sara Bigler of Dover, Tennile Bigler of New Philadelphia, step granddaughter, Leslie LaBarge of Dover; step great granddaughter, Caitlin LaBarge of Dover; and many loved nieces and nephews.Friends may call Friday, November 17, 2006, from 1:00 Â? 3:00pm and 5:00 Â? 7:00pm in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.The Rev. Larry Hostetler will lead the Bigler funeral Saturday morning, November 18, 2006, at 10:00 am in the funeral home’s chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park.Following the committal, a reception will be held for family and friends in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Midvale United Methodist Church, P.O.
