Virginia (Ginny) F. Gribble, 81, of Palm Harbor, Florida, died on August 31, 2004, at Tandem Health Care in Safety Harbor, Florida.Born May 7, 1923 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late London and Emma Beans Miller. Virginia graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1941 and married Kenneth W. Gribble on January 18, 1942.Virginia was employed by the Union Lumber Company and Glass Lumber and Builder’s Supply Company, both of New Philadelphia and the Williams Lumber Company and the Stark Truss Company, both of Canton, Ohio.Additionally, Virginia was an avid fan of horseracing as well as dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats.She will be missed by her son, Terry L. (Dana) Gribble of Palm Harbor, Florida. She is also survived by a grandson, Keith Gribble and a step-grandson, Adam Conner, both of Clearwater, Florida; a sister, June E. Stutz of New Philadelphia, Ohio and one sister-in-law, Beverly Miller Cole of Bolivar, Ohio.In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. and Donald R. Miller, and one sister, Doris M. Kemp.Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Burial Park with Rev. Jim Taggart of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, officiating.
