Vincent James Penso, age 70 of Hudson, Florida, and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 in his home. Born at Dover, November 14, 1935, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary DiGenova Penso. Vincent moved to Hudson, Florida in 2003 after living in New Philadelphia for many years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and retired from the Timken Company at Canton where he worked as a machine operator. Vincent leaves behind his wife, the former Phyllis Ehrich of Hudson, Florida. The couple were wed January 16 of this year. His family also includes a daughter, Lisa Penso Jagunic of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a step-son, David Bond of Grand Blanc, Michigan, three step-grandchildren, Aimee Boulis, Stephanie O’Leary and Amber Bond; two step-great-grandchildren Logan and Lucas; two sisters, Tina (Max) Miller of Dover, and Margaret (Reno) Stevanius of Sugarcreek; two brothers, Andrew (JoAnn) Penso of Dennison, and John (Pauline) Penso of Mineral City. In addition to his parents, Vincent’s second wife, Donna Ann Firoetto Penso, and a son, Eugene Penso, precede him in death. Friends are invited to call Friday afternoon from 2 P.M. Â? 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. Â? 8 P.M. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where Christian Wake services will commence at 8 P.M. The Monsignor George J. Schlegel will lead the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning at 10 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church. Family and close friends are to arrive at the funeral home by 9:40 in time for prayers and procession to the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Philadelphia.
