Victoria Susan Kennedy-Doll, age 74 of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Victoria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and nurse, who gave selflessly to love and care for others.
Born December 17, 1947 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington, Victoria was the only child of the late Lieutenant and Mrs. John S. Crow. Her mother, Helen Kennedy, was one of three children born to her late grandparents, Clayton and Clara Maud Kennedy of Dillon, Montana. She spent summers on their ranch in Montana and was very close to her grandparents, both of whom left indelible marks on her life. Victoria graduated from Samuel F. B. Morse High School in San Diego, California, where she met two of her life-long friends. She went on to graduate from the School of Nursing at University of Northern Colorado.
Victoria is survived by her husband, Dick Doll of Gnadenhutten; her children, Todd (Michelle) Bacon, Melanie (Bryant) Bacon and Aimee (George) Cardenas; her step-children, Daniel (Kristie) Doll and Christine Shearer; and, her 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Among her greatest lessons taught were the importance of serving others, family, compassion, hard work, always learning, and the resilience of the human spirit.
In keeping with Victoria’s wishes, she is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia, Ohio. A private family interment will be planned for a later date in the Centennial Valley, Montana.
