Victor Charles Fisher, 82, of Dover and formerly of East Canton, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, in Union Hospital at Dover.
Born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania on May 30, 1933, he was the son of the late Victor E. and Lula May (Rutland) Fisher.
After graduating from Massillon High School, Vic worked for Sypolt Chevrolet and served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Des Moines.
Vic married the late Patricia A. (Fox) Fisher, and together, they rear three children including Bruce (Judy) Fisher of North Canton, William “Brad” (Kimberlee) Fisher of New Philadelphia, and Anna (Scott) Palmer of Hamilton.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Andrew Fisher of Henderson, Nevada, Rachel (Anthony) Williams of Dundee, Megan (Joe) Howard of North Canton, and Jake and Carly Palmer of Hamilton, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren, Kensington Fisher, Mason and Lucas Howard, and Luke and Madilynn Williams.
In addition to his parents and wife, Victor was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sara Noel Fisher.
Cremation has been entrusted to Geib and private inurnment will take place at a later date at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
