Verna M. Garabrandt

Verna M. Garabrandt , 65, of New Philadelphia, died October 27, 2005 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.A daughter of the late Parker E. and Caroline A. Gruenig Reichman, she was born April 28, 1940. She married Elmer D. Garabrandt June 30, 1963. Verna worked as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn in New Phila.Verna is survived by five sisters, Caroline Reese of Massillon, Thelma Case and Rosa (Alan) Walters of New Phila., Etta (Thomas) Grimm and Kay (Jim) Grimm of Dover;one brother, Frederick (Joyce) Reichman of New Phila., and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby M. Hogue, and M. Grace Mahaffey; and two brother-in-laws Edward Reese and Robert Case.Visitation will be Monday October 31, 2005 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. D. E. Overton officiating.
