Val Kevin Rolli, 50, of New Philadelphia, died suddenly on Saturday evening, December 11, 2004.Born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, on June 27, 1954, he was the son of Marjorie Norman Rolli and the late Neil Ross Rolli, who died January 22, 1987.Kevin graduated from Indian Valley North High School in 1972, and lived in California for 21 years before returning to this area in October of 1998.Here, he found the love of his life, Rebecca German, with whom he shared many interests, including his enthusiasm for fishing. Kevin was a union millwright working primarily for Selinski in Canton and was a Saturday night bouncer at Bentley’s in Dover. He was a member of the Ohio Carpenters’ Union for 29-1/2 years.He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his mother, Marjorie; his loving companion, Rebecca; his sister, Susan Kirtley of Strasburg; his brother, Allan (Helen Lambros) Rolli of Dover; his children, Gina Marie Rolli and Jack Ross Rolli of Reno, NV; his adopted step-children, Jennifer McMillen, Jim German, Joe German, and Jesse German; his aunt, Rosemary Ridgway of Palm Springs, CA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and two infant daughters.Visitation will be at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m.. Graveside services at the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery will be conducted on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m.Memorial donations may be made to the Kevin Rolli Memorial Fund, c/o the Huntington National Bank, 232 West Third Street, Dover, OH 44622.
