Twila Cercone

Twila “Jean” Cercone, 73, of New Philadelphia, died November 16, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center, at Canton, Ohio.Jeane was born on September 8, 1933, in Canton, Ohio. In 1953, Jeane graduated from New Philadelphia High School and in 1954 married Albert L. Cercone. Jeane was member of Sacred Heart Chatolic Church.She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Mae Burton Wallace Rothacher.She will be sadly missed by her husband; children, Cathy Conner of Jacksonville, Florida, Rita (Ron) Richardson of Sugarcreek, Pamela (Jim III) May of Bolivar, B.J. Cercone of New Philadelphia, Donna (David) Furbay of Dover; grandchildren, James (Tacy) May IV, Chad Cercone, Gabriel Adam Taylor, Jessica Richardson, Christopher (Rachelle) Conner, Nicholas Conner, D.J. Furbay, Domonic Furbay, Twila Jean Furbay; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Leigh May, Emilee Cercone, Zackrey Taylor, Zander Taylor; sister, Ellie Rohrig; sister-in-law, Dorothy Coutts; nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the kind staff of doctors, nurses, and staff at Mercy Medical Center, especially, Dr. Steven Hirsch, Dr. Jehad Asfoura, Dr. Randall Harris, Dr. Elaina Norch, and Dr. Russell Ramey, for their kindness throughout the last three years. You were like family to us.Friends are invited to call on Monday, November 20, 2006, from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia, where Christian Wake service will be held at 8:00 pm. Msgr. George J. Schlegel will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at 1:00 pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
