Thirty-six year old Trina Kuczirka woke up each morning in the past few years to the happiest day of her life. The loving wife and mother enjoyed her work at Akron City Hospital as a surgical tech, delighted in caring for her horse Cody, and together with her husband Pete, was anticipating the birth of a son in December. Trina experienced premature labor early Saturday morning, and while in labor, experienced a fatal aneurism. Colleagues of Trina at Akron City Hospital, where she worked, delivered baby Zane Charles Kuczirka, fourteen weeks premature. Baby Zane is hospitalized in Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital at Akron in the neo-natal intensive care unit. Born Trina Suzanne Brimager at Dover, Ohio on April 2, 1971, she was a daughter of the Hilda Sue Baldwin of New Philadelphia, and the late Lloyd Brimager. Trina was among the first to graduate from Indian Valley High School, the first year following the North and South consolidation. From high school, Trina entered the United States Air Force, where she received training as a surgical assistant. For most of her tour of duty, she was stationed in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at Dayton, Ohio. Upon her discharge, Trina went to work in Union Hospital at Dover, before joining her friends and colleagues at Akron City Hospital. This coming Saturday, she would have observed her tenth service anniversary with the hospital. When not working at the hospital, Trina enjoyed singing karaoke and in 2006, she won first place in the First Town Days talent contest. Her voice is familiar throughout the Tuscarawas Valley. Trina was an aunt to nearly twenty nieces and nephews, and always sought to be a special aunt to each of her loved ones. Always the party planner, Trina organized family reunions and threw the best themed birthday parties for her family members. On January 3, 2004, Trina married Pete Kuczirka. The couple met two years prior to their wedding, and together planned a lifetime together. The family recently moved to Bolivar, where Trina kept her horse Cody, as well as a small farmyard of animals. The family attended First Baptist Church at New Philadelphia. Kuczirka, two step-sons Spencer and Lake, all of the home, her sister Tammy (Michael the 1st) Vogel of Port Washington, brother Ryder (Shane) Russell of Kalamazoo, Michigan, sister Tally Taralla of New Philadelphia, and brother Tracy (LuRae) Russell of Sherrodsville.
