Todd Robert Eberle, 44, of Uhrichsville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 26th, 2015, in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia following a lengthy illness.
Born in Dover on June 11, 1971, Todd was the son of Bob and Marie (Berni) Eberle of Dennison.
A lifelong resident of the Twin City area, Todd was a 1989 graduate of Claymont High School. He had been employed as a lumber yard manager at Stambaugh’s Home Improvement Center in Dover and for 17 years as a shipping-receiving supervisor at Saint Gobain Technical Fabrics (formerly Perma-Glass Mesh) in Dover.
Todd’s love of music began at an early age, and propelled him to become a gifted guitarist who played with several area artists.
On February 27, 2009, he married his loving wife, the former Lisa MacAdam. Together, they enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and kayaking in the local lakes. They also spent many hours cooking and tending to their garden.
In recent years, Todd attended Uhrichsville Church of the Nazarene, where he formed an everlasting friendship with Pastor Mike Travis.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Lisa Eberle of Uhrichsville, he will be deeply missed by his step-sons, Alex (Erica) Hayes and their daughter, Olivia of Akron, and Nathan Hayes and Griffin Hayes of Uhrichsville; his sister, Kelli (Jeremy) Baker and their children, Hannah, Eberle and Avery Baker, all of New Philadelphia; grandmothers, Virginia Berni and Wilma Eberle, both of Uhrichsville; his mother-in-law, Christine MacAdam of New Philadelphia.
He is also survived by his brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Lloyd (Carol) MacAdam of New Philadelphia, Lyle (Stephanie) MacAdam of Yreka, California, Erin (Jeff) Haren of Akron, Amy Justice of Cuyahoga Falls, Mike (Becky) MacAdam of Philippi, West Virginia, and Steve (LeAnne) MacAdam of Stow.
Todd was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clarence Eberle and Joe Berni; his aunt, Bonnie Eberle; and his father-in-law, George MacAdam.
Visitation will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and a service beginning at 6 p.m. A meal will follow in hospitality room.
In gratitude for their unfailing love and support, and unparalleled care to both Todd and Lisa’s families, please direct memorial contributions to Community Hospice House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
