Todd Alan Kinsey, 56, a resident of New Philadelphia, owner of First Stop Signs and driver of the ’72 El Camino, lost his battle with cancer Sunday Morning, September 14, 2014 at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia.
Todd was born April 20, 1958 in Uhrichsville, Ohio to Donna (Buss) Kinsey and the late Myron “Sonny” Kinsey. In addition to his mother, Todd is survived by his wife, Diana Kinsey; daughter, Jessica (Kinsey) Farrar; two brothers, Jeff and Mark Kinsey; and good friend George Dennis.
Todd always had a love for motorcycles and women. He wanted to be killed riding his motorcycle, but unfortunately he was too good of a driver. While many motorcyclists have had an accident, or haven’t had one yet, Todd never wrecked his bike. He was a very empathetic person who said you couldn’t judge a situation unless you were there and even then you might not know what happened. He had a very outspoken manner and was notorious for debating his ideals with others. Most can agree that he was usually right, although his method for proving that may have been a little unorthodox. Despite that, those who knew him well knew him as a very caring and generous man.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services held. A party was held to celebrate his life May 16, 2014.
