Timothy Stephen Sewell, age 67, of Dover died Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.
One of 10 children born to the late Joseph and Eunice (Grimm) Sewell, Tim was born at Union Hospital on August 13, 1945.
He graduated from Dover High School and entered into the United States Army. Following his discharge, he worked for a period of time at the former Superior Meats plant at Massillon.
He was an avid reader and a sports lover, who had a special passion for the Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees.
Tim is survived by a daughter, Kristin Kiser and a son-in-law, Ted Lahmers both of Dover; a son, Tim Sewell; his former wife, Nancy DiGenova both of Strasburg; three grandchildren, Philip Kiser, Kres Kiser, and Marcie Kiser, and a great-grandson, Brayden Kiser.
Completing the family are three sisters, Marilyn Hinyard, Linda (Charles) Bair, and Virginia (Charles) Cline; a brother, Thomas (Marlene) Sewell and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Ellen Johnson, and four brothers, Robert Sewell, Daniel Sewell, James Sewell, and William “Butch” Sewell.
The family will hold private services at a later date. Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover will handle cremation care.
