Thomas Jefferson “Tommy” Korns, 50, of Dover, passed away July 22, 2018 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, following a period of declining health.
Born in Dover on May 1, 1968, he was the son of Thomas E. and Cheryl A. (Wertman) Korns.
Tommy was a 1986 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center, and spent his professional career as a self-employed carpenter. Most notably, his career allowed him the privilege of working on Splash Mountain at Disney and also Epcot.
Tommy loved NASCAR, and watching both football and MASH on television.
His family includes his parents; his son, Tyler Korns of Dover; his companion, Rhonda Bonner; his sister, Tiona (Todd) Campbell of Bolivar; his nieces, Tori and Taryn Campbell; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation has been entrusted to Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover. Private inurnment will be held in Evergreen Burial Park with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
