Thomas Donahie Hunker

Thomas Donahie Hunker, age 57, of Dover, passed away on September 14, 2006, after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer.Thomas was born on October 18, 1948 in Dover to the late Thomas and Ruth Hunker. Upon graduation, Thomas served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Thomas worked for the Timken Company in Faircrest for 28 years.Thomas is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara, children, Sherri Longenette of New Philadelphia, Samantha (Skip) Hanenkrat of Dover, Josh Hunker of New Philadelphia; granddaughters, Summer Longenette, Chloe Hanenkrat, Sophie Hanenkrat and Rylie Hanenkrat.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006, 10:00 am at the Geib Dover Center, with Meredith Kalapich officiating. Burial will take place in the Dover Burial Park. A reception will be held in the Geib Hospitality Room immediately following the burial.
