Theresa A. Clum, 75, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 21, 2005.A daughter of the late Rudolph and Wilma (Conley) Ruffini, Theresa was born February 24, 1930 in Roswell, Ohio.She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Philadelphia and was an avid collector of dolls and rooster memorabilia.Theresa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as having lunch with her cousins. Theresa’s family will fondly remember her home cooked meals and her cleaning around the house.She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence Clum, whom she married May 16, 1952 in Dover; children, Steven A. (Pamela) Clum of Port Washington, Sue (Ken) Hawkins of New Philadelphia and Sam (Lori) Clum of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Steven A. Clum II, Kristopher (Michelle) Clum, Persephone Clum, Lindsay Hawkins, John (Heather) Hawkins, Sam Clum II, Brandon Clum and Breanna Clum; great grandchildren, Steven Clum III, Katie Clum, Grant Clum, Morgan Clum, Andrew Gazdick and Aden Clum; one brother, Rudolph “J.R” Ruffini of New Philadelphia; and sisters, Irene Herron of Waynsville, Ohio, Rose McDonald of Zanesville, Ohio and Lianne Martin of Roxsboro, North Carolina.Theresa was preceded in death by one great grandson, Nathaniel Clum and three sisters, Margaret Alpeter, Kathryn Moore and Rita Hochstetler.Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Philadelphia with Monsignor George Schlegel and Father Edward Keck officiating. Burial will follow in Fry’s Valley Cemetery. A reception will be held at St. Ambrose Hall immediately following the committal.
