Theodore W. “Ted” Belknap, 67, of New Philadelphia, died unexpected Saturday morning, December 20, 2003 at Union Hospital in Dover.Born May 25, 1936 in Roswell, Ted was a son of the late Harry W. and Thelma May Page Belknap. He retired after 30 years of service from Republic Steel in Massillon.Ted enjoyed restoring old cars and roller-skating at Columbia Skateland.He is survived by daughters, Sherrlye (Rick) Huprich of New Philadelphia, Sherri (Donnie) Patterson of Dennison and Sheila Scott of Uhrichsville; stepchildren, Doug Bower of Uhrichsville, Jenni (Steve) Passmore of IL and Renae Stokes of Canton; grandchildren, Chaz, Seth and Ian Huprich; Neil Patterson and Tonya (Tim) Collins; Brock Scott and Bryce (Mindi) Scott; great-grandchildren, Abagayle Collins; Shelby and Amber Scott; Cole and Brandon Passmore; Briana, Kami and Bralon Stokes; brothers, Bob (Joan) Belknap of Roswell, Dave (Ruthann) Belknap of Brightwood and Ray (Cathy) Belknap of Roswell; and sister, Judy Poorman of Roswell.In keeping with Ted’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
