Thelma Carol “Tocy” Kinsey, 83, of Dover, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Loy Alonzo and Lila (Davidson) Kinsey, Tocy was born February 16, 1936 at Uhrichsville, Ohio.
Tocy graduated from Uhrichsville High School and worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for many years. She had a love for music and playing the steel guitar. Tocy was also known for her beautiful handwriting and addressed many invitations and other items for family and friends over the years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members and dear friends.
Also, she leaves behind her family of friends, the residents and staff at Hennis Care Centre at Dover, where she happily resided the past six years. During her time there, Tocy thoroughly enjoyed the various outings and activities as well as the musical programs and completing crossword puzzles.
Tocy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Irma Ghezzi and Dorothy Eileen Dunlap and three brothers, Warren Dean, Vernon Ray and Harold Doyle Kinsey.
In keeping with Tocy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will take place in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
