Terry Lee “Weasel” Waller, 66, of New Philadelphia passed away in Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center at New Philadelphia on May 13, 2015 following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Zanesville on May 5, 1949, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Waller and Mabel (Hill) Brown.
Terry honorably served his country on two tours in Vietnam, serving in the United States Army.
His family includes his son, Terry Jason Waller of Colorado; his brothers, Tom (Elaine) Waller of Dover, Tim (Kay) Waller of Cambridge, and Ted (Debbie) Waller of Lancaster; step-siblings, Patty Grezlik, Thelma Murphy, Robin Staley, Debbie Tulak, Larry (Shelly) Murphy and Glenn (Jackie) Murphy, all of New Philadelphia; his step-mother, Dorothy Waller of New Philadelphia; his step-brother-in-law, Max Bechtel of New Philadelphia; a granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his step-sister, Linda Bechtel.
Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Ridgecrest Memory Garden beginning at 10 am. Rev Max Canfield will officiate the service and the New Philadelphia VFW will render military honors.
