Terry L. Swegheimer

Terry L. Swegheimer, 61, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton following a brief battle with cancer.Terry was born November 7, 1943 in Dover to Dale E. Swegheimer and Lillian Davis Grasselli and was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School. He had been employed by Stevenson Memorials at New Philadelphia.He is survived by his wife, Brenda R. (Reinhart) Swegheimer, whom he married July 11, 1986; sons, Bill, of Pinellas Park, Fl., Terry of New Philadelphia, and Todd of Dover; step-daughters, Stacey (Terry) McAfee, of Newcomerstown and Marcy (Tim) Stein, of New Philadelphia; brother, Curtis (Sharon) Swegheimer, of New Philadelphia; sister Linda (Larry) Kinsey; half sister, Beth Gardner, of Cambridge, O; brother-in-law, Rod (Corine) Reinhart, of Stone Creek; sister-in-law, Monica McAfee, of Stone Creek; beloved grandchildren, Clayton, Morgan and Hayden McAfee, Casey Andrew and Dakota Stein, and Jamie Swegheimer; and his two loving dachshunds, Sage and Jazzee.Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Timothy A. Swegheimer.In accordance with his wishes there will be no visitation or services. His body will be cremated and his cremated remains co-joined with his beloved dachshund companion of 13 years, Normie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Terry L. Swegheimer fund, 323 Gulfstream Lane, New Philadelphia, Oh. 44663. Arrangements and cremation are being handled by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory of New Philadelphia.
