Terry L. Beans

Terry L. Beans, 61, of Mineral City, died August 2, 2015 following a farming accident on his property.

Born on March 8, 1954 in Dover, he was the son of Mary Ellen (Hudson) Beans of Mineral City and the late Roy Dean Beans.

After graduating from New Philadelphia High School, Terry spent 32 years working for the former GTE, now Verizon. Presently, he was employed by Schoenbrunn Landscaping. His greatest passion and love was tending to the family farm.

His family includes his wife, Carene of Mineral City, whom he married on November 30, 2002; his daughters, Nicole Beans of New Philadelphia and Kim (fiancé, Pat Cox) Beans of Dover; his brothers, Bill (Vicki) Beans, and Brian (Charleen) Beans, both of Mineral City; and his grandchildren, Gavin and Meadow Blind, Makiah Fluellen and Melody Johnson.

A memorial service celebrating Terry’s life will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home on Wednesday beginning at 2 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service.
