Teresa Marie McCloy Hill, age 50, of Beach City, Ohio, died peacefully early Monday morning, August 20, 2007, in her residence following a lengthy illness. Born at Grafton, West Virginia, July 5, 1957, Teresa was a daughter of Alice Mary Rutkowski McCloy of Mentor, Ohio, and the late Guy John McCloy. Over the years, Teresa enjoyed doing crafts, working, taking motorcycle rides with her friends (she especially enjoyed the annual teddy bear run to Akron Children’s Hospital) and spending time with her family. Survivors include her companion, Kenny Fuhrer of Beach City, sons; Hans JurgenWolfgang Horstmann of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joseph Allen Horstmann of Parma Heights, Ohio, daughter; Michelle Lynn (Chad) Thompson of Carrollton, son; Billy Joe (Tanya) Horstmann of Dundee, Arthur Lee (Leslee) Hill III of Uhrichsville, and daughter; Rachel Lynn Hill of Beach City. She was especially proud of her grandchildren; Ashley and Lindsey Horstmann, Joey Horstmann, Kyle Dluback, Carson and Jeremy Horstmann, Faithann Horstmann, Katie and Brookelyne Thompson, Arthur Hill IV, Trinity and Reilly Hill, Molly Morrison, Tabbie and Scott McCullum. Teresa’s family also includes five sisters; Ruby Bearaducci and Patricia Mason both of Zephyrhills, Florida, Jeanie Hammond of West Lafayette, Kathleen Loomer of Coshocton, and Marslean Kuglin of Mentor, Ohio, and a brother; John McCloy of Zephyrhills, Florida. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins complete the family. Friends are invited to call Thursday afternoon, August 23, from 4 until 6 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, where Chaplain Rick Brinsley will lead a memorial service celebrating Teresa’s life at 6PM. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the service. A private family Inurnment will follow on Friday in Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
