Tempra Starnes

Tempra Shawnee Starnes, 28, of Uhrichsville passed away in her home on September 6, 2016.

Born in Massillon on July 6, 1988, she was the daughter of Eddy Lee (Lorrie) Starnes, II, and Brenda Lee (Branden) Moore Starnes, all of Uhrichsville.

Tempra was an avid cat lover and treasured the time with her niece. She also enjoyed gardening, growing pumpkins and crafts.

Tempra also found great peace in attending church at New Life Church in Dover.

She will be deeply missed by her family including her parents; her siblings, Amanda (Josh) Strickroth and Eddy (Keely) Starnes, III; her niece and nephew, Rachael Strickroth and Tanner Ketchem; her special uncle, Nathan Moore; her expectant niece, Savannah Shawnee; her grandparents, Georgia and Larry Moore and Mary Starnes; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tempra was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eddy Starnes I; her friend, Shella Hankins; her aunt, Diane Robins; and her great-grandparents, Walter and Mildred Stevens and William and Truth Moore.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 4 pm in the New Life Church of God at Dover. Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
