Susan M. Wagner, 51, of New Philadelphia, died November 4, 2006, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.Susan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 11, 1955, to Delbert and Frances Smith Frost, of Clarion, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, Michael G. Wagner, of New Philadelphia; daughter, Sarah (Rob) Weaver of Dennison; three older brothers, James (Patty) Frost, Steven (Marilyn) Frost, and Richard (Diane) Frost all of whom reside in Pennsylvania.Susan was an avid horse enthusiast for over twenty years. She then changed her career to an assistant manager of a Humane Society and also worked with computer assembly back when computers were the size of kitchens. She also held a public office as the township Auditor in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Susan was state certified as a Real Estate Agent, Nurses Aid, and an Ohio Auctioneer.In 1993, Susan discovered an opportunity to open her own business and travel all over the United States. The friends she made over the next fourteen years are numerous and unique. She treasured the chance to see beautiful America from her cargo van named Max. Her most current job was a construction site field secretary, working along side her husband.There will be no funeral service, but a gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 1:30 pm in the First United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 201 Fair Ave, New Philadelphia. Susan’s request was that you get a chest x-ray, or help a non-insured family member or friend get one. It could save a life.
