Steven Reichman

Steven Gene Reichman, 51, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016.

A son of Sally (Kohler) Reichman and the late Larry “Cork” Reichman, Steven was born June 22, 1964 in Union Hospital at Dover, Ohio.

Steven graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1982. He enjoyed carpentry and worked as a carpenter during his younger years. He then earned a nursing degree and worked as an LPN. He had a variety of interests and especially enjoyed scuba diving, hunting and quilting.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughters, Sonya Rosales of New Philadelphia and Kendra (Richard) Dayton of Strasburg; a grandson, Landon Dayton; a brother, Mark Reichman of New York and a sister, Julie Reichman of Dennison.

In keeping with Steven’s wishes there will be no public calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will take place in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia at a later date.
