Steven M Keesey

Steven M. Keesey, 60, of Tuscarawas, died December 24, 2012 in Aultman Hospital of a long term illness.
Born in Dover on November 3, 1952, he was the son of Lois J. (Angus) Keesey of New Philadelphia and the late Edward T. Keesey.
Steve graduated from Indian Valley North in 1971, where he was a talented track & field athlete participating in state competition. He was employed at Shenango Furnace.
Steve’s hobbies included playing video games and chess, watching basketball, or working on his computer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Rebecca “Becky” Albertine whom he wed April 25, 1973; his daughters, Michelle Keesey of Akron and Christina (Troy) Wigfield of New Philadelphia; his son, Michael Keesey of New Philadelphia; his brother, Edward “Ted” (Linda) Keesey of Columbus; two nephews, David and Danny Keesey; and his cat, Pebbles.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 and a service beginning at 10:30. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park.
