Steven H Morgan

Steven H. Morgan, age 48, of Dover, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, August 2, 2009. Born at Dover, November 3, 1960, he was a son of C.H. “Bacon” Morgan of Barnhill, and the late Barbara Ann Amick Chaudrue. A 1979 graduate of Dover High School, Steven went on to work as a welder, and was most recently affiliated with Tremcar USA, of Strasburg. Steven will be remembered as a man who loved the outdoors, and he devoted much of his spare time to hunting and fishing. His family includes a daughter, Lindsay Morgan and her husband Jeffrey C. McClain; three grandchildren; Brayden, Alyssa and Carter Morgan, all of Dover.He’ll be sadly missed by his father, and step-mother, Helen Morgan of Barnhill, a step-father, James Chaudrue, of Dover, four sisters; Peg (husband, Tom) Smith of Dover, Joan (husband, Rick) Davidson of New Philadelphia, Amy Beitzel of Wainwright, and Jonna (husband, David) Harper of Sherrodsville. A brother; “Bakie” and wife Shawn Morgan, of Barnhill, and step-sisters; Linda Marner, Diane Meese, Sue Stephens, Beverly Conley and Lynn Luckeroth, as well as a step-brother Terry Jackson, also survive. Numerous special nieces and nephews and his former wife, Jill Morgan of Dover, completes the family.In addition to his mother, Steven is preceded in death by a step-brother, Jerry Jackson. Cremation is planned. Viewing and graveside services in East Avenue Cemetery will be private.The Morgan family requests that memorial contributions be made to the alcohol and drug addiction program through the care of Community Mental Health, 201 Hospital Drive, Dover, OH 44622.
