Stanley B. Lipinsky

Stanley B. Lipinsky, 73, of Carrollton, died Friday, December 11, 2015 in Hennis Care & Retirement Center at Bolivar following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Stanley and Mary (Widla) Lipinsky, Stan was born May 7, 1942 at Amsterdam, Ohio.

Stan was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, he became a pilot and enjoyed flying and serving as a flight instructor at the Carroll County Airport. He also enjoyed eating and the companionship of his friends during his daily visits to the Heartland Hills Restaurant.

He is survived by his children, Stan (Mary) Lipinsky of Mineral City, Linette Nuske of Canton and Lesley (Brad) Rose of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Stanley Lipinsky Jr., Justin and Tristen Michel, Steven and David Nuske, Anthony Swiger and Kaitlin and Courtney Shine; three sisters, Dorothy (Michael) Hayes, Mary Ann (Ed) Stine and Stella Rafferty and his dear friends, Larry and Jerry Pradelski.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

In keeping with Stan’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
