Stacee S Wise

Stacee Sue (Dunn) Wise, 47, of New Philadelphia went home to her heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.
Born in Dover on November 15, 1967, she was a daughter of Carol (Miller) Dunn of New Philadelphia and the late John G. “Jay” Dunn.
Stacee grew up in the Village of Tuscarawas and in 1986, graduated from Indian Valley North High School in Midvale. In 1985, she received the Miss Majorette of Ohio title.
She continued her formal education at Canton City Schools where she received her LPN license. Then, she enrolled in Kent State Tuscarawas, completing her RN license. Her education culminated at Malone College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Stacee cared for thousands of patients throughout her 15 year career with Union Hospital. She worked as a staff nurse prior to her current position as Manager of Perioperative Services.
Her faith was nurtured at Ragersville Zion United Church of Christ where she was a former member of Consistory and the Search Committee. She also had an unwavering devotion and commitment to her family; never missing one of her children’s events whether at school or their 4-H activities. Stacee found great peace and love with her family and friends on the family farm.
She married the love of her life, Robert Todd Wise on December 29, 1990 in St. James Lutheran Church in Tuscarawas. This year they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with two children, Kameron J. (Clinton) Steel of Dover and Neil R. Wise, who were the light of her life.
Stacee will also be deeply missed by her mom, Carol Dunn of New Philadelphia; her siblings, Jo-Dee (Alan) McKibben of Tippecanoe and Eric (Bill Basler) Dunn of Miami, Florida; her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Patricia Wise of New Philadelphia; her sisters-in-law, Leanne (Mike) Helmke and Lynne Wise, both of New Philadelphia; nieces and nephews, Kortnee (Mike) Cameron of Uhrichsville, Zachary (Courtney) McKibben of Tippecanoe, Landon and McKalynne Helmke of New Philadelphia; and a “great” aunt to Brody, Emmalee and Kynsee Cameron and Knox and Ellelynie McKibben and a niece due in January of 2016.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Neil Robert Wise; her father, John G. “Jay” Dunn; and her grandparents, Lonnie and Mary Dunn, John and Betty Miller, Orin and Elinor Hammond, and Jay Edgar and Leota Wise.
A private service and inurnment will take place alongside her son, Neil, in Ragersville Cemetery at a later date.
