Shonnie Marie Marks Kutscher Pongratz

Shonnie Marie Marks Kutscher Pongratz, 65, went home to be with the Lord on December, 9, 2020.

Born in Weston, WV to the late John and Veda Marks. Shonnie was preceded in death by her late husband Gerald Kutscher, brother, Sherman Marks, sisters, Nancy Perry and Diane Smith.

Shonnie was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a 2nd mother to many. Anybody that knows Shonnie, recognizes that she loves all her daycare children. Shonnie had been employed through the State of Ohio Job and Family Services Childcare for 20 years.

Shonnie leaves behind her husband, Thomas Pongratz and three daughters, Sheila Gines (Roger), Theresa Schupbach (Matt) and Kimberly Asbury Fry (Ken). Six grandchildren, Dominique and Whitley Sisler, Kail and Kent Schupbach, Heidi Johnston (Brody) and Courtney Asbury. One great grandchild, Dawson Johnston. Four brothers, Bill (Joyce), Anthony (Oma), Mike and Johnny (Phyllis) Marks.

Shonnie wants all her loved ones to know that each and every one of you meant the world to her. Whether she was able to communicate that to you or not.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A funeral service celebrating Shonnie’s life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park.
