Shelba J Swartzendruber

Shelba Jean Swartzendruber, 65, formerly of Berlin and Baltic and recently of Millersburg, died Monday July 28, 2003 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born on December 21, 1937 in Holmes County to the late Moses and Ethel (Horrisberger) Kaufman Jr., She had worked as a cook at Walnut Hills Retirement Home and was a member of Berlin Mennonite Church.Surviving are her daughter Linda (Steve) Middaugh of Sugarcreek, son Spencer (Angela) Swartzendruber of New York, grandchildren Rocky, Sarah and Eddie Shanower and Emma, Jacob and Chloe Swartzendruber, brothers Stanley Kaufman of Berlin and Harold (Brenda) Kaufman of Texas.Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 31, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Berlin Mennonite Church, 4718 US Rt. 62 E, Berlin, with Pastor Ernie Hershberger officiating. Burial will take place in Berlin Cemetery. Friends may call at the church TODAY from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berlin Mennonite Church.
