Sean Patric Endres, a young Dover resident and talented caregiver passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, while preparing to attend classes for his junior year at Kent State University’s Tuscarawas Campus. Born at Toledo, Ohio, August 29, 1987, Sean celebrated his 23rd birthday last weekend and is the eldest son of Brennen and Kathleen Clark Endres of Dover. Although his life was short, he lived it to the fullest; taking every opportunity to love, laugh, work and play. Ever an optimist, Sean was a kind and gentle man who will be remembered by all who knew him as a hard worker, and determined person. A 2006 graduate of Dover High School, Sean was a proud member of the Marching Tornados where he played trumpet with his left hand, and made many memories on the band trips to Disney. Sean’s love for people manifest in many ways, whether offering a ride, providing free tutoring, or assisting in fundraising for a worthy cause, those close to him felt loved and nurtured by his friendship.Following graduation from Dover, he went on to earn an Associate Degree from Kent, and was involved in a number of campus organizations and enjoyed spending many hours in the student lounge. Sean lived just a few blocks from Dover Avenue Elementary School where he attended and played baseball with his friends. He also was a member of the Tuscarawas County YMCA Judo Team. Most recently, Sean worked with RTY, the not-for-profit ride operator of Tuscora Park, and enjoyed keeping the rides and area around the rides neat and attractive for visitors. Sean was GREATLY LOVED by his siblings, Dillon, Mackenzie, and Brogan. He’ll be sadly missed by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Patric and Mary Mullen Clark of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, and Louis and Mary Lou Donohue Endres, of New Philadelphia. Sean is survived by his 29 cousins, and was proud to know and love each one of them, as well has his many loving aunts and uncles, and great aunts and great uncles, including his special great-uncle Bill Endres, of Dover. An infant brother, Kyle Louis Endres and a cousin, Kahle Goetz, precedes Sean in death. Friends are invited to call Sunday afternoon from 1-4PM in Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Father Jeff Coning will celebrate Mass of the Resurrection Monday morning at 10:30 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia with a procession forming at the Geib Funeral Center of Dover by 9:45, at which time, prayers will be offered before departing for the church at 10AM. A reception will follow in Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Whether you knew Sean as a friend, or have just come to know of him by reading his obituary, it is clear that he left this community a better place than he found it, and that his legacy of giving back is now ours to continue. In a final act of giving, Sean gave the gift of sight and life by donating his corneal retinas and tissue. Please direct memorial contributions to the Flying Horse Farms, where Sean was asked to be a camp counselor, and provide children with serious illnesses, an enriching, transformative medically-safe camp. Contributions may be made in care of the farm, which is part of the Paul Newman Hole In The Wall Camp Program, 225 Green Meadows Drive South, Suite A, Lewis Center OH 43035.
