Sarah Elizabeth Watson

Sarah Elizabeth Watson, 90, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly, Thursday, September 15, 2005, at Union Hospital in Dover.A daughter of the late Charles and Mary Moffitt Benedum, Sarah was born October 24, 1914, in Uhrichsville, O.She married Russell C. Watson on November 26, 1933. Sarah enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.She is survived by a son, Jim (Carol) Watson; and a daughter, Peggy (Kenneth) Shear, both of New Philadelphia; a daughter-in-law, Betty Watson of Uhrichsville, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Larry R. Watson; four sisters; and a brother.Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory of New Philadelphia. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m., immediately following the visiting hour, with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. Burial will be beside her husband at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
