Sandra K. Byers

Sandra K. (Ault) Byers, 59, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006 at The Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.Sandra was born on May 11, 1946 in Wooster, Ohio to Margaret C. (King) Ault who resides in Mansfield, Ohio and the late Howard Ault, Jr.In 1964, Sandra graduated from Midvale High School and then earned a B.S in Education and a B.B.A in Accounting from Kent State University. In 1978, she joined the Reckitt & Benckiser Company in Cincinnati, Ohio as Cost Accounting Manager and subsequently was promoted to Controller of their Wolcott plant in upstate New York. In 1988 Sandra accepted a promotion as Corporate Controller in Wayne, New Jersey. Due to a life long illness, Sandra was unable to continue her career and returned to Mansfield with her family.In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert L. Byers of Mansfield, Ohio; daughter, Beth Wiedemann of New Albany, Ohio; grandchildren, Sam, Josh, Jessica and Molly Wiedemann and one brother, Judge Jerry Ault of Lexington, Ohio.Sandra was preceded in death by her father and a younger brother, Robert Ault.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service honoring Sandra’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. David Milroy officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover, Ohio.
