Sandra J. Klein

Sandra Jean Klein, 74, of New Philadelphia, died October 15, 2021 in the Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia from a long battle with cancer.

Born in Dover on October 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Donald Eugene and Norma Lee (Werstler) Shull.

After graduating from Garaway High School in 1965, Sandra married her husband, Robert James Klein on June 20, 1967.

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking, and camping with her family.

In addition to her husband, Sandra will be deeply missed by her daughter, Malinda (Shane) Elrod of Beach City; her grandson, James Klein of Savannah, GA; her siblings, Nancy (Randall) Alleshouse, Marjorie (Steve) Cronk, and Brenda (James) Weaver; sister and brother-in-law, Marica Fearon and Jerry (Tammy) Klein; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Dan Fearon; parents-in-law, Chester and Ida Klein; her sister, Barbara Gnagy; and brothers, Ronnie and Larry Shull.

Visitation will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Wednesday, October 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Sandra’s life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 21 beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Legg officiating. Burial will follow in Dundee Cemetery.
