Sandra Grinder

Sandra Jean Grinder, 67, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Union Hospital at Dover following a recent illness.

A daughter of the late Clyde and Velda (Douglas) Myers, Sandra was born October 3, 1950 at Massillon, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Grinder whom she married on December 19, 1992; her children, Michael (Samantha) Blaney of Wilmot and Shannon (Joseph) Rohrer of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Perry Blaney, Matthew Blaney, Amy Truman, Stacey Robinson, Joshua Miller and Hayley Rohrer; 11 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bonnie (Dave) Wurtz, Connie Kiko and Richard (Dorothy) Holland all of Brewster, Carol Maughiman of West Lebanon and Doris Edick of Chicago; many nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Perry Blaney.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Bud, Chuck, Leslie and Harold “Skippy” Myers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park.
