Ruth Weber, 90, of Bolivar, passed away Monday night, February 2, 2015 in Hennis Care Center in Bolivar.
Born in Freeport on January 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Clara M. (Reed) Stewart.
On August 7, 1945, Ruth married the late Raymond F. Weber, who preceded her in death on July 10, 1954.
Her professional career as a packer at Miller Studio spanned 31 years until her retirement. Ruth’s faith was nurtured at First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia. She also enjoyed her membership with AARP.
Ruth’s family includes her son, Ronald (Connie) Weber of New Philadelphia; her siblings, Ethel (Wayne) Day of Dennison and William Stewart of New Philadelphia; her granddaughters, Lori Weber of Columbus and Jennifer (Nathan) Crouse of Dover; and her great-grandchildren, Kierra and Mariah Lindsey of Columbus, Austin Stevenson of Dover, and Ashlynn Crouse of Dover; and her great-great-granddaughter, Skylar Lindsey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters and her companion, William Yoder.
A service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Zoar Cemetery.
